Mix. Music. Mingle. for Art! Join Prospect.Us!

Prospect New Orleans is excited to announce Prospect.us, an affiliate membership group that will foster an appreciation for contemporary art within the city’s young professional community through networking opportunities. 

Prospect.us will kick-off with Mix. Music. Mingle. this Saturday, January 25, from 6-8 PM at Other Bar on Freret Street. Entry to the event is $5 per person. Local performance group, The Little Things, will provide entertainment.

“Prospect New Orleans is excited to directly engage with young professionals, our future art patrons and audiences,” said Brooke Davis Anderson, Executive Director of Prospect New Orleans. “Prospect.us is an ideal outlet for anyone who wants to engage in contemporary art, but isn’t sure where to start.”

Prospect.us members will enjoy a wide range of activities including volunteer opportunities, behind the scenes tours, visits to artist studios, private collections and galleries, and curatorial walkthroughs. In the spirit of inclusion and fellowship, Prospect.us membership is free. Email carrie@prospectneworleans.org to join.

The Prospect.us Leadership Committee will coordinate Prospect.us membership, programs and events. The following individuals have been elected to serve for the 2014-2015 term – Kristen Brennan (co-chair), Carrie Knopf (co-chair), Marianna Barry, Rachel Gorman, Michael Leikin, Justin Shiels and Ann Marshall Thomas.

Kristen Brennan said, “Mix. Music. Mingle. is the perfect opportunity to introduce our new group to the community, and we are thrilled to kick off an exciting year of art, culture and fun in anticipation of P.3.”
